National threads are the best because no matter how much hype there is the album never falls short of expectations.

 

After I play this through a bunch more times, I'm going to throw it on a playlist with U.F.O.F., shuffle, and bask in the glory of how perfect my favorite bands are.

 

Yup another 10/10 album. What a ridiculous band.

If you told me You Had Your Soul With You was going to be my third-least favorite song on the album I would’ve punched you in the mouth for trying to set my expectations too high but here we are damn

 

Top 5 so far of the year for me. Stunning stuff.

 

I am genuinely curious how they receive the album, I have no clue what they’ll do with it. SWB should have been a guaranteed BNM but they snubbed that one (still 8.0), which I think kinda points to their recent bias towards no longer highlighting the bands that were instrumental to their rise as a publication (see: new Vampire Weekend for another recent example).
