Definitely in the minority on this one but I feel like Lights and Sounds is their best record and my favorite. It's actually the only one I still listen to occasionally aside from When You're Through Thinking.

Pretty crazy to see so many big bands from the old scene slowly breaking up. It makes sense, I'm 29, most of these guys in said bands are probably pushing 40 or getting close. Just definitely sad to see none the less.

Last night I jokingly made the idea of going to Detroit because of the no Ohio dates. As the night went on, it became a real possibility. I've already been looking at Hotels for the trip.

Yellowcard are one of the defining bands of my musical tastes. I am 27 now and they were the band that brought me to pop punk when I was in middle school. Their music had an impact on me that I don't think I'll ever be able to fully measure. While their first couple of albums are the ones that really had the biggest impact, not having this band around feels strange. Growing up and watching bands change and move on has been an interesting and difficult experience. At least we get a last album and tour, these dudes will be missed.

Welp. Coupled with the MCS announcement a few months back, this one also stings. Hope the new album's a good one. I love the intro and last part of "Rest in Peace". Or maybe it's just me being such a fan of their violin work.

I'm in the same boat. Detroit really isn't all that far. Depending where you're coming from, you might not even have to look into hotels either. It's only about a 3 hour drive for me from Akron. It's one of those shows I'll probably want to remember too, so I could take it easy on the drinks, get plenty of rest before the trip, pack several Red Bulls, and could be home by 2 or 3am after the show. It's definitely under consideration, but I also saw these guys last December at Four Chord Festival in Pittsburgh, so might end up being more of a last minute decision for me.

if i can i'm going to make it to the portland show. i now wished i made it to their show with new found glory back in november. both of them played at the first ever gig i ever attended. it changed music for me, experiencing it like that. i've been a been able to tell sean that but not the rest of them. their music was essential for me growing up.

It would be great if they decided to come to Cleveland so I can see this, but I am glad I got to see them back in November with NFG. that was a great show. YC has been a big influence for me since Ocean Avenue came out in my high school years. They will definitely be missed

So Cyrus from NFG is drumming for them at warped, at least in the Tampa date. Pretty rad of him!

    0%? that's a pretty bold assertion lol

I mean they don't have a drummer. And it feels wrong to do the final tour with a substitute/touring drummer anyway. LP is vocal about wanting to do it, and fans have started campaigning for it as well. If it grows enough, it would probably look bad on them to say no.......I mean at this point in their career they probably don't care about that lol but still.

Doubtful he'd even want to at this point, but if we're campaigning, let's get Ben back in too.

This really sucks. One of my 2-3 favorite bands of my youth. And I just watched the video....if it's a retrospective of their career, really shitty fucking move to not include Ben or LP in the video. I mean, Jesus Christ, if Slash and Axl can mend fences...
