They're obviously different situations. It's entirely possible that the one with Austin Kerr was clear cut and this one's not. You can't just kick out a band member in a matter of hours just because someone makes a claim online. Not saying he's innocent, but your statement doesn't make sense.

Definitely out of touch, at least for the headliners. They are all super well known. The undercard maybe not as much. And huge bummer about the bookings, but isn’t the guy who runs the fest known to be a terrible person?

At this point, would people in that scene even know about regulate? The stuff about Harry came out before that band was a thing and no one has really ever made a big thing about it too long after Christian's tumblr post came out. They've gained quite a bit of hype recently so most of their fans probably don't know him from those other bands, if they even know who the drummer in a replacement level bc band is.

 

There’s still people occasionally informing promoters/etc about it and they either get ignored or get blocked. The hardcore community is very much aware and nobody cares at all.

 

that's mostly behind the scene stuff- when they played here literally no one I knew was remotely aware, and there were some fairly big locals on that show, so it was definitely a significant event. that's anecdotal, of course, but this type of scene is all about dealing with things in quiet, so I'm not sure the average person knows about what happened.

I do know of someone/some people who brought this up and were threatened/encouraged not to start shit, so I know people do know, but I'm not sure it's as well known as people seem to think
