  3. The "OH!" is the one thing that makes me kinda roll my eyes, but it's fine. It's such a small detail that it doesn't ruin it for me by any means.

I've listened a few times now and just can't get into it. Objectively, it's a very well produced song and I agree that it's a fantastic use of Matt and Mark exchanging vocals in one song. Still excited to hear the rest of the album.

  5. AVA sounds like a pretty good version of a Tom AVA song, a sound that he's been basically doing for a very long time, and he's done some bad versions of that too, but by and large that was a pretty good version of that.

This sounds like a familiar and yet new and exciting take on Blink-182.

To compare, "Rebel Girl" was kinda like a mid-level California song, a reminder that he can do a specific sound well.

As that's my birthday I insist they do this just for me or I'll revoke ALLLLLL their punk cards!

I don't know if you want to listen to stinky power chords all day you could go listen to their other 8 albums.

I LOVE Rebel Girl. I was expecting not to like it, but I think its fantastic. Great mix of synth and guitar.

Musically it's pretty good but personally I just really don't care for his voice anymore. It was quite better than I expected anyways

Someone here mentioned Bleachers, and now I'm totally noticing those vibes!

The chorus is super catchy and definitely sounds more like modern sort of pop for them, but the rest of the song sounds like classic blink to me....but different than the style they tried on California.

    California
did a great job at calling back to blink's old upbeat and faster music, but they actually had a lot of that kind of softer, mid-tempo feel with clean guitar that was reeeeally good (mostly on Untitled). They didn't really attempt that style on Cali at all though. This song, primarily during the verses, actually captures that familiar blink tone pretty damn well.

glad people are enjoying this. I'm interested in the rest of the album because I like that they are trying new things, but this one isn't hitting me. maybe i'll come back to it later.

Bought the "Pill Logo Dad Hat" just now because I saw there was a merch ticket presale thingy.

Apparently they use Sand Bag LTD for merch now which is a UK company. Think I've only seen it before when ordering from Frightened Rabbit merch store. Just a random thing I noticed haha.

Yoooo, how sick would it be if Jack produced even one song for blink? That's something I would love to see/hear.

Had a friend text me about how lame the lyrics were coming from grown men and I took a closer look at the lyrics and honestly... they're some of the better lyrics this band has written in a while

It was pointed out before, and yeah I'm not sure why, but the vocal exchange feels much more natural than what they did on California. They feel blended and not so much like they're taking turns trying to get both singers their equal time in the spotlight. Simple Creatures did that pretty well actually.

I wouldn't mind if a song or two was mostly Matt or Mark with the other one pretty much doing backup or handling just the bridge.

Digging it! Kind of nice and breezy. Travis kills it.

I find the song to be underwhelming, but I also don't think it sucks. Nothing is really grabbing me and I find it a little repetitive. I do wanna listen to it on headphones tonight and pick up on things I haven't picked up on yet in the song.

Just glanced at some YouTube comments and saw "where's the guitars?" and I'm realizing that is an actual thing people say and not just something we joke about here

    Hahahahhahhahahahahaha

  24. I'm more convinced people actually don't know what guitars sound like at this point.
