So Feldy did produce some songs for this album, right? It's gonna be weird hearing this song transition into one of his.....the production styles on BIOMY are so different than his.

I feel like we're finally getting the best of both worlds here. Mark & Tom are on decent enough terms that Mark is actually mentioning Tom and acknowledging he exists. We have new music coming from AVA & blink. Good times!

Now I want to hear BIOMY and Rebel Girl back to back on the local radio!

 

Cool song, definitely more laid back and chill than I expected, but not in a bad way

 

The poser/punk card stuff is fucking hilarious. Not liking a song is fine but having the ONLY reason you dont like it being the genre is crazy. I can’t imagine only listening to one genre of music. Especially something as samey as pop punk. Let alone worrying about your precious pop punk street cred. Too funny.

 

I would die of happiness if AVA played a showed with Blink haha.

 

He tagged tom and highlighted that Rebel Girl is out there too. Kinda a nice little fist bump.

We don't know how many from who will make it it yet, but the mixers and mastering will probably keep it pretty close to similar sounding -- Chris Athens did this, he's worked with Feldmann in the past so I could see him doing more of it. Manny mixed it, but I dunno how many others he'll mix, I bet that's expensive af.

 

AVA and Blink both putting out catchy singles within a week of each other has got me feeling pretty great.

 

I mean, the song is okay, but I'll wait to judge it after I hear the "What would this have sounded like in 2003 with Tom Delonge?" version that will come out in 20 minutes.

 

I really like production/verses/bridge/skibba sounds like skibba

I think the chorus is a little cheesy personally but it will do well on the radio

 

Oh hell yeah, this is EXACTLY what I was hoping from a new B182 song. Stuff like the bridge, and the ending are creative, daring choices.

I'll take any chorus over "Because I fell in love with the girl at the rock show. She said "what?" and I told her that I didn't know"

 

This is way too cheesy of a song for them to be releasing in 2019.

 

Is there something wrong with the song on Spotify or is everything supposed to gain during the chorus? Can barely make out any instrumentation.

I freaking love this song. It sounds like it'd have fit well on Cali DLX but still also has a different sound to it. It's a nice catchy summery song. This is honestly the exact direction I was hoping they'd go in & was expecting when they said they were being more experimental. I don't understand the people (*cough* Reddit *cough*) who were expecting Cheshire Cat 2 or something.

 

prechorus to chorus gives me the same smile/vibes as Cartel’s ‘Let’s Go’

 

I got "cheesy/immature lyric" on my bingo card! With the 'guitars' and 'Feldy' already checked off I've only got a few more response cliches to go!

 

This is exactly where I wanted blink to go. I have a slightly more positive reaction to this than I did to Bored to Death. this new era is going to be something special!

I LOOOOVE the synth riff in the verses. Reminds me of Bleachers a little bit.
