Yeah it’s hard to say cus this is such an odd situation with them going all in this year. Gonna be an interesting offseason, for sure. I don’t think they’ll completely fall off cus there’s still a lot of talent that will be on the team regardless what happens with the UFAs and hopefully their solid drafting the last few years can mitigate them mortgaging the future for the present in that respect

It's funny to me how righteously indignant sports media gets every time an athlete blows off an interview.

 

I get it, but Marchand was being a baby about Kyle's questioning from last week's game


That question was a reference to when Marchand stomped on Atkinson's stick. The day after that happened, Marchand said that he thought Atkinson "was trying to dull my skate with his stick". Brad's joking about it to reporters but then can't take a joke from Kyle directed at him. Alright Brad...

 

Right, and I get all that. But like...the reporters who are now acting like Marchand betrayed church and state because he blew off the interview is just such a joke to me. It's no big deal. The reporter was snarky on camera to Brad, Brad was snarky on camera back, everyone get a good night sleep and try again in the morning.
