The people dissing I Miss You I just want to know. How long have you been on earth? Do you enjoy our food and customs?

 

The first time I heard the chorus of “I Miss You” I flipped my shit. It was the best vocal melody I’d ever heard at that time. Haha. It’s also the band’s best live song.

Sources are telling me they will be performing an acoustic rendition of Depends on GMA tomorrow.

 

I love “I Miss You” just in case saying I’d swap it out with a deep cut came across as me not liking it.

 

Me neither. I think they said they wrote that and First Date to be intentionally corny to get played on the radio because the label told them to and it really shows.

Right on. The only time Tom looked like he "wanted to be there" was during the live I Miss You outro haha.

 

Here's probably a rare opinion but I think Mutt, Carousel and Adam's Song are Blinks best songs.

 

“Mutt” always felt like an unfinished song to me. It just doesn’t really go anywhere, especially compared to almost every other Blink song from around that era

 

Same. I don’t love the live version as much

 

I think The Rock Show is one of their better singles

 

I've always loved the little riff Tom plays in the verse of Mutt. It was always fun to play along to. "He pauses shaving and he tells himself that he is the bomb" is also the greatest opening line of any song ever.

I'd say Carousel and Adam's song are pretty beloved though so it's probably not that rare. Adam's Song's chorus is probably my favourite after I Miss You.

 

My fav singles are Dammit, Josie, WMAA, The Rock Show, Man Overboard, and Not Now

 

I love rabbit hole and wish they would play it. A lot of ppl ruined that opportunity

 

Speaking of Man Overboard, they need to play that

I love Man Overboard. It has every element of a great blink song. Overlapping shared vocals. Cool harmonies in the chorus. Some of their best lyrics. I always loved the transition from the low riff to the slightly different high one too.

 

San Diego, Cynical, and The Only Thing that Matters are the best songs from California

 

I hope we get more big choruses like on Left Alone.

 

First Date is easily their worst single.

 

Cynical, Bored To Death, She’s Out Of Her Mind, Rabbit Hole, The Only Thing That Matters are the only California/DLX songs I wouldn’t want to live without.
