I just take Spin and the b-sides, put them on New Again and then you can erase Louder Now completely.

Make Damn Sure is better on Live from Orensanz so it can stay there.

 

Also not a b side per se, but I’ve always loved this early live version of What’s It feel Like To Be A Ghost. It features Adam with a shaved head, and an extended bridge with some familiar lyrics added.

 

Um you’re forgetting Error Operator, Ghost, List, twenty twenty, and a bunch of other good LN tracks

I believe that's my queue to say "The demo version of What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost? is the superior version".

 

What are the lyrics from? I never really liked WIFLTBAG as a whole but loved the bridge. This version rules.

 

God I miss Rubano's energy live.

Their new guitarist seems to bring it in new videos I've seen though.

I remember seeing TBS on that tour when Adam shaved his head (2005ish). Also remember them playing Ghost and Error Operator before Louder Now came out.

 

No wonder I didn’t recognize them

 

What lyrics are you guys even referring to? I don't even really recognize anything that different from the original other than the end, but I can't even tell what Adam is saying.

 

"I've got a strong will, just weak hands" which was later used in Where My Mouth Is during the later part of the extended bridge and then "it's all such a blur" over the final chorus.

I've always really liked it and it seems like something Warner Bros told them to cut to make it more radio friendly.

 

Divert away because those songs fucking rule.

 

I’m always down for discussion of TBS b-sides because holy fuck are those songs good.

 

I need to go back and find the revised tracklists I put together for NA and S/T featuring the b-sides. I already have Louder Now and HI playlists on Spotify incorporating those b-sides, and I enjoy them more than the original versions.

 

Follow the Format is a great non album song. Always loved the lyrics "It's not a lie if you believe it. It's no mistake if it's always repeated."

 

I see we’ve moved onto b-sides but felt the need to defend the up against/2020/Miami/error quartet that always gets slandered. Never felt like they were that different from the rest of the record and they’re each catchy as hell; if anything Liar and ghost are the stylistic outliers on the record for me.
