how much backlash would have to happen to drop neck deep from the tour assuming that's the case?

 

I think Mark remixed a Neck Deep song, I think the bands have a relationship and I doubt they’d be dropped if they do tour together

 

I don't travel over 2 hours anywhere cause I hate traveling lol

Most I've had to travel for blink was 40 minutes in Worcester Mass. They usually hit Hartford or the casinos (although the casino shows keep getting canceled)

 

I think Chester French was the opener for the TBS, Weezer show? I know they sold out the ampitheater (I think 30k capacity) and sat in traffic for 2 and a half hrs so I was hearing the end of Weezer's set walking in. But that was New Again-era TBS and tracksuit-trampoline-Rivers without a guitar era Weezer, so I didn't care one bit that I missed everyone before blink

 

that show was so weird for me. Blink understandably dropped off of my date due to DJ AM passing, so Weezer headlined. meanwhile TBS had to hurry off to get on a plane and go somewhere, so they powered through like five songs and left. so the show was basically Weezer ft. Chester French. i am quite fond of trampoline Weezer though lol

 

Travis just worked on a xxxtentation song, they won't kick Neck Deep off a tour

 

Yeah my show was when they did the Down tribute to DJ AM, show before they canceled the next date I think. It was a good show but Mark half assed one joke all night and that was like almost literally all the talking. The fact they even played was something.

 

Mark is on a Neck Deep song and Travis works with equally horrible people. They definitely won't drop them.

 

I 100% am willing to bet that the day they play GMA is the day the album drops

 

About Neck Deep: Basically their ex-bassist was DMing a 16 year old girl ahead of a show in 2013 (kinda lewdly too iirc), and then gave her info to their tour manager and guitarist who started harassing her according to the girl.

Towards the end of their friendship they were video chatting and the rest of the band was in the bus with him and they all starting messing around with her on their bassists phone which led to their Drummer (who was like 18 at the time) to say "Show us your pussy or you don't respect yourself" and that weirded her out.

These allegations came out 2 years later on reddit or tumblr I think and were later redacted, probably due to the harassment. The guitarist left, idk what happened to the manager. The bassist also left to be like a writer and producer last year). The drummer is the only member involved with the incident to still be in the band.

Also Ben, the singer, tweeted a bad joke basically implying some feminists hate men ("happy international womens' day to the feminists who don't just hate men" or something like that). Which I think is more of just representative of the community he was raised in and people he associates with than actual malicious intent, but given everything else surrounding the band it leaves kind of a bad taste.

 

I’m so hyped for all of this to be announced. (Though I think I’d have preferred Kid Cudi or Pharrell over Lil Wayne tbh)

 

I hope not because I want the album sooner but it would make a lot of sense especially since they're still working on the album.

 

Based on nothing I’m calling it - Pharrell will play with blink in LA

It would be cool to set up a tour where the opener is a big name and local to that area

Oh they’d probably get blink-182 to open

 

I may consider breaking my Blossom Ban just for the people-watching alone.

 

Or an Angels & Airwaves pre-tour warm up show.

 

With Wayne on the tour I was kinda hoping they'd have a good hip hop opener as well, like Denzel Curry.

But really I was really hoping for Amy Shark.
