Since Blink is playing Warped Tour in AC I wonder if that would prevent them from playing in Camden/Philly on this run since it's probably a summer tour

 

I think someone posted a while back that Travis said Philly on 6/28 on Instagram and deleted it. Could be wrong, though.

 

So we expecting that new tour early next week? Probably Monday?

To be fair, everything about this album cycle is a little behind schedule.

If these dates are true, we should expect an announcement at any time.

Phish is playing in Camden on 6/28

 

Yup, I remember buying tickets in advanced and having to wait a few months for my show.

 

We also are only getting bits of info through the band members on social media in comment sections/live videos. I feel it's probably out of their control to a degree.

 

But if they've already booked a tour then there's probably some major holdup preventing them from starting official promotion for this cycle. Blink announced the California tour 2.5 months before it started, and it was a massive 4+ month run...If they don't announce this tour next Mon-Wed it'll be super weird for an arena band to give that little lead time. Unless this is a small venue run (Well, you know, sub-10,000 cap), which I don't see happening.

 

They're playing on "Good Morning America" in NYC on July 19th. Could be a one off though.

Do we think they'll do the typical ampitheaters for this tour? Lil Wayne's a pretty huge name, I was thinking they might try baseball stadiums again like when they were gonna do those Blinkin Park shows.

Probably be hard to book an actually tour of stadiums that size in the middle of the summer with baseball season being in full swing. Maybe a few one off shows here or there.

 

I wish in Boston they would play the TD Garden haha. That is what, 20-21k capacity where the Xfinity Center ... which just sucks ... is pretty much between 19k-20k.

 

Are we sure that the Lil Wayne shows are the full tour, or special shows kind of like what Blinkin Park was going to be?
