Californiaddict Album

Californiaddict is a concept hip-hop album about a man struggling with addiction after being released from prison onto the streets of Skid Row, in Los Angeles, California. This album delves into the world of recovery and explores the impact that addiction has on our relationships, how we interact in society, and how it affects our mental and emotional state.

Californiaddict has a very unique sound to it as well by trying to capture the raw emotion of someone going through recovery. We used a mixture of samples and effects to create feelings of anxiety, hesitation, and fear, while having heavy guitar to make you feel the push and pull as though you are going through it with him. Some of our musical influences have been The Weekend, Earl Sweatshirt, Frank Ocean, and Kid Cudi.
