I was hoping to get free lawn tickets to the Chicago show using the Ticketmaster vouchers.

Got back about an hour ago and both bands killed it. Panic gets better and better with every single tour (the addition of a horn section was a fantastic idea), and was awesome to finally see Weezer after all these years. Unfortunately the crowd kind of died when they came out but I was singing every word. Great night.

Weezer messed up a handful of times last night, but it was still a great set regardless. Panic! killed it as always

The show tonight was awesome. Weezer started out a little slow and seemed quiet for the first 2 songs, but came on very strong for the rest of the set. They were great. I enjoyed the medley of older songs.

PATD were good, but I'm not at all familiar with the new album so I kinda just socialized and wandered around during their set. Brendon is such a good vocalist.

AWOLNation were on this particular date because it was being billed as the annual Fuzz Fest by the local Alternative station. They are excellent live. I want to see them headline sometime.

Andrew McMahon was good. I saw him last year at Fuzz Fest too and he delivers a good performance. I'd like to see him in a smaller venue with a longer set, though. I've never seen any of his projects outside of a festival setting.

Crowd was totally dead all night. It was awkwardly quiet most of the times Rivers prompted the crowd to sing along. Undone, Beverly Hills, and Thank God For Girls seemed to get the biggest reactions. Which seemed like a bizarre combo to me. Lots of people left after Panic. The only moshing I saw all night (not that I expected much) was during Panic's cover Of Bohemian Rhapsody, though. That was kinda funny.

This tour is selling extremely well. Doing MUCH better than Fall Out boy/Wiz Kalifah last year and those two are arguably bigger bands than PATD/Weezer.

I meant to mention this in my long post earlier. At my date, when Weezer played (If You're Wondering) they skipped the "Your mom cooked meatloaf" part of the 2nd verse and just jumped into the pre-chorus after "You took me home to meet your mom and dad" which seemed weird to me. Have they been doing that?

    Things have changed.

Yes, I also noticed that at the two shows I saw. Very strange.

I knew something sounded off about that song when I heard it. Strange.

I thought this was strange as well. They changed another part too towards the end . I just assumed they had been doing that for a while, but it did catch me off guard (and a lot of the crowd)

They did that at a show two summers ago too, so I think it's just how they do the song now

Ended up a solid show.... Had 4 drunk guys in front of us for weezer who were jamming out. So drunk, in fact, that near the end of the show, one guys yelled 'play beverly hills!' - and his friend says 'dude. they played that already'.

set list was standard set list same as previous days, I believe.

Panic did terrific, Weezer did almost as good, IMO.

Still a month away from the date out here in AZ and I am so pumped for this. I'm kind of hoping Panic! changes the set list up by then. I didn't get a chance to see them pre 2013 so I've never seen much of their first two albums live.

I'm going to pittsburgh show tomorrow. I find it kind of weird that it starts at 4 in the afternoon. But hey, I am all about getting home early.

Even if they changed up their setlist, which is not something Panic has ever done mid-tour, there's only 1 other song from Fever they would play ("The Only Difference...") and 0 others from Pretty. Odd. they would play. Anything else from those albums haven't been played in over two years.

I'm really curious how the smaller Stage AE gets these big tours, that would be booked in a shed like the Pavilion in other cities (I don't think it's called Post Gazette Pavilion anymore - sorry I'm not from Pittburgh). I was surprised to see both Twenty One Pilots and this tour play at Stage AE when it seems they could have filled a larger venue. Not sure if you have any insight...
