But literally anybody could have tech that would help them fight. Pepper Potts is flying her own Iron Man suit around. You're saying that they couldn't write up something cool for Hill to use so she could join the fight?

 

Pepper is married to the guy who makes those suits

Narratively it makes sense that Pepper would put on one of the many suits that could have been designed for her.

Fury and Hill in random suits that they have never been hinted at wearing on screen would have been random. It would have been cool to see both of them in the final battle but they would have had to have been in a helicarrier or something because the only big battle they’ve been in (Age of Ultron) had them in a helicarrier.

 

dunno if this has been posted already, but there's a cool Secret Wars #4 homage when Hulk is holding up the remains of the Avengers HQ after Thanos and co. blow it up

 

And he did it with one arm being permanently damaged.

 

Doesn't have to be a suit, just tech in general. Hill is a trained fighter, unlike both Shuri and Pepper, but nobody is batting an eye at them using tech to participate in the final battle. So why not Hill? That's literally all I'm saying. How is this controversial. I'm losing my goddamn mind.

What you’re saying makes sense to me. I actually had the same thought this morning

 

Both Shuri and Pepper have been shown to use tech that they used in the final battle when Hill and Fury haven’t been hinted at using any tech in the films other than helicarriers and guns. They also were revived in the street they disappeared in. Shuri was revived in Wakanda where her blasters are and Pepper would have been close to the Rescue suit.

 

They could have given her some huge leifeld esque guns or something. I'd have loved that!

 

Maria and Fury not being in the battle makes far more sense to me than seeing T’Challa’s mom there lol

 

Was his mom really there or is this a joke. Lol If so, I totally missed her appearance.

 

Yeah his mom being there was probably my biggest "why is this necessary" of the movie lol

Haha, I actually thought about this post. In the context of the movie I actually didn't mind this at all. I think there are some time travel rules and whatnot that don't exactly make sense to me, but it was a totally satisfying end for me.

 

In that case they might as well have thrown in Hill and Fury if Ramonda appeared. lol wow Shuri makes sense but Ramonda...

 

Haha yeah, right? I could have a Mandela Effect going on, but a couple spoiler reviews on YT mentioned her being there.

 

Not sure if anyone knows this, but do we know if Pepper still had the Extremis virus at this point? Has that ever been explained?

 

I was wondering if her and Redford actually shot new scenes, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tilda Swinton definitely did which is wild enough

 

I really didn't miss Fury & Hill in that battle, tbh.

The only exclusion that bummed me out was Sif, who I would've loved to see both there & in New Asgard. I know the actress is busy w/ television these days, but w/ all these stars they coordinated over the course of a couple years, I wish they'd knocked out a couple quick green screen shots in one day or something. I kinda miss her & am bummed she never got her due, & especially would've liked to see her standing side by side w/ Valkyrie (even if via green screen).

Speaking of characters who showed up, I love that the Jarvis from Agent Carter appeared. Loved him, loved that under appreciated series. That was also the only Marvel Television series thus far that Feige produced (& I think the Russos also had a hand in it), so further proof that Marvel Studios only cares about projects Feige oversaw.
