    Assume It's A Bit

    That'd make a great Disney+ show tbh

Tessa Thompson would do that kind of comedy so well IMO

I think to kill Clint would have been harsh considering he wasn’t in IW and seeing his family come back to him dead would have been a horrible scene to place at the end. Plus Nats story has pretty much run its course. Her main thing was to write off the red in her ledger and I can’t think of a better way to wipe that off than to sacrifice herself to save half the life in the universe.

Clint also needs to continue training his daughter so that she can be the new Hawkeye (assuming they were setting this up in the movie instead of going with Kate Bishop even though Kate Bishop was rumored to be the focus of the Hawkeye Disney+ show)

The meme said "oh, also, Hulk kills Thanos." Which was clearly not true at all, but seemed pretty plausible to me after Hulk's fear of him in IW - would have been a cool return for the character, but the second I saw Banner-Hulk on screen I wasn't too sure it was true after all.

All in all, I absolutely adored this. The theater was UPROARIOUS, like, almost to an absurd point (got kinda annoying at times, but most of it was pretty warranted). I thought each character's ending was handled pretty well and the emotional beats hit really hard.

The entire ending fight was one of the most incredible things I've ever seen in a movie. So over-the-top and unrelenting from the second it starts. I seriously had the biggest, dumbest smile on my face the entire time.

Also, Cap with Mjolnir was probably the most hype I have ever seen a theater. People were LOSING THEIR MINDS and for good reason, it was super awesome. Really reminded me of the Kylo/Finn/Rey fight in TFA, but clearly amped up to infinity.

I loved the exchange between Scarlet Witch and Thanos - reminds you that she's one of the most powerful Avengers. Glad she's back.

Also, Captain Marvel is the best. I'm so glad she's in the MCU now, watching her just wreck shit is so satisfying. Plus that scene where Thanos tries to headbutt her and she just grins, oh man, what an absolute badass. Like, she had to get hit with a stone-powered punch to get knocked away. I'm already stoked for her next movie/seeing her in more MCU films overall.

It didn't feel like 3 hours at all to me and I legitimately can't wait to watch it again. Such an amazing send off to amazing characters and a reminder of why I love this stuff so much. I didn't even watch a lot of the earlier phase MCU movies until last year to catch up for IW and I've been punching myself over it ever since, but I'm glad I was prepared for this.

Really excited to see what they do for a core team of "New Avengers."

Everything that happened I liked, even though I wanted the opposite to happen before I saw the film. I like that Steve didn’t die and that he gives his shield to Sam. I like that Tony died the way he did and his funeral was so good.

I'll have to see it again and really pay attention but this theory could hold up. I think he would have needed to come back through the machine Hulk is operating but honestly it's not worth the nitpicking to me. The final moments of this film are so well done from a character aspect that I'm fine with letting the high sci-fi technicalities fall to the wayside.

I actually don't agree she had run her course at all. Her arc since Avengers (I'm ignoring Iron Man 2 for obvious reasons here) wasn't about wiping the red from her ledger, it was about lowering her defenses and letting Steve, Bruce, Sam etc into her life in a meaningful way. She was maybe 75% done with that when she died, and even worse her whole thing with Bruce got like half a line dedicated to it in both IW/Endgame which just feels cruel

Oh yea, him needing to come back in the machine makes sense. I don’t know.

This movie was an absolute emotional rollercoaster and my eyes hurt this morning lol. Almost cried at least 4 different times (Rocket and Nebula holding hands, Stark/Spiderman reunion, I love you 3000, Old man Steve) and full on TEARS for Tony's death of course aaaaand the funeral scene. I am super excited to see what happens in the Universe next because even though they just wrapped up a huge gigantic story theres so much more they can still do. Ugh, I'm drained.

I hope we just get one-off stories for the next few years (like Spider-Man). I need a break lol

The ONLY pay off that doesn't work for me is that the Spiderman/Tony relationship/dynamic is almost a full film undercooked for me and I think the filmmakers and writers just assume I'll give more fucks about them than I should.

I'm ripshit it was her to die, but I think it makes sense for both Curt and her.

I drove home thinking I was leaving summer camp and I'd never see all my friends again. It's going to be hard for me to invest/care about the upcoming films without a defined "endgame" in place lol

I'm glad how they ended Steve's arc, but like honestly, he IS captain america. I adore Anthony, but no way does that carry the same weight.

I just wish that I had gotten one more SOLID Iron Man film (3 sucked) and another GREAT Cap movie (make Civil War an Avengers film and give me another Rogers film as good as Winter Soldier).

Thor and Hulk steal the show per usual.

Also - RDJ is honestly a fucking G and I love him. So glad that it began and ended with him.

I cried the most when Tony gets back to Earth and tells Pepper “I lost the kid” and when he finds the now-old picture of him and Peter tucked away in his house.

RDJ absolutely killed that first scene back at the Avengers complex. You really bought he'd just been through absolute hell when he loses his shit at Steve

Do you think in 15 years we will get a film where Tony and Cap come back, ala the current state of Star Wars with Luke, Han, Leia, etc?

The fact that he has the shield backs up your theory though. He would have had to bring it back from a different timeline because it's been destroyed in the main continuity. I do wish the mechanics were air tight on this and I'm afraid they're not. Or the Russos will eventually come out and explain how it all lines up.

The shot of all the badass Marvel women together was maybe the biggest “fuck yeah” moment of the movie. So much hype.

Oh yea! I totally blanked on the shield. So he stole it from somewhere (time?), but does it ever need returned? I’m sure this won’t be answered as it doesn’t truly matter.

I'm glad they gave the shield to Falcon and not Bucky. Bucky has become an established character within himself in the movies but in the comics Falcon strives to be just like Cap. He wants to be that beacon of hope in the world that Steve Rogers was/is and he echoes that by saying "I can't live in a world without Captain America" and he won't. He holds the same values as Steve and Cap knows it.

I'm excited for the new dynamic. Falcon has been an amazing character since he was introduced in Winter Soldier. I just wish Bucky had more of a moment with Cap but I feel like he knew what Steve was going to do and was okay with it, which makes me okay with it.
