I was thinking about it but didn't wanna throw mad cash down. I got the band photo on the front, tour dates on the back. I just wanted a smiley logo shirt since my ex in college ruined my other one from 2004. Is that too much to ask?

Good story from tonight, a dad (40ish) brought his 13 year old son to his first show tonight, he was so excited. As soon as "Feeling This" started up, a huge rush of fans pushed forward (as per usual at any show) and the 13 year old was not expecting it and started panicking. The dad just held him and said, "Welcome to a rock show". I think he settled down shortly after that.

I cannot wait for my deluxe edition of AMSP to come in. The wait will be worth it.

 

Same here, I ordered both from Waste, but surprisingly they sent out the standard edition now. I expected both to arrive in september. The deluxe looks sick, and that mastertape around the package is pretty sweet!

 

I don't care what anyone has to say about Thom and his views, he seems like a really good guy. They all do, and that's why they are one of my favorite bands, and they always put together sweet packages for the hardcore fans. My next tattoo will be a Radiohead tattoo most likely.

I'm pretty sure this is specific to the venue. I've been to the sands event center multiple times, and bands who generally banter, did not. I think it's discouraged there for some reason.

 

Why the hell would a venue discourage that

 

It's childish bs is what it is, whether you like tom or not this behavior is completely out of line. Reminds me of that time MCR got pelted with bottles of piss. It's bullshit behavior

 

It really kills me seeing the great lengths people will go to be shitty toward someone. The thing is it always happens to the nicest people, Matt would never do anything like those people did. Matt may have been pissed but I can he's probably really hurt too.

I definitely went level 10 fan girl but at least he sees the positive things and knows the appreciation and support is there.

According to a couple other people that were there, this story got exaggerated. Which is good.

It definitely was exaggerated. I was there and didn't really notice any of this. Matt seemed fine and not upset with anyone.
