Just saw Clutch and Corrosion of Conformity a few weeks ago. I legitimately didn't think I'd ever see their name here, hah. Love them so much.

 

They are one of those bands that I think anyone should be able to get into. They pull from so many different places and have such a solid sound. I'm super jealous. I haven't listened to much CoC, but I heard they put on a damn good show.

Yeah seriously. I can't really define them, which is great. And they are the most non-band looking dudes ever, haha. The guitarist looks like he works at Guitar Center. But they killed it live. CoC was awesome, and James Hetfield came out for a song, too. Probably the only time I'll ever be able to say I paid $25 and was 10 feet away from him.

 

I wanted to see that LoG tour that Clutch was on but then I remembered what kind of crowd LoG brings out so I just stayed home.

 

I'm dreading that Slipknot show. I'm going with some people who definitely aren't gonna fit in there either. Haha. Just gonna be lil ol me in a Hatsune Miku shirt.

 

Nah, you all will be fine there. I mean from my personal experience, that crowd is actually surprisingly chill. Now LoG, you have this weird mix of aging tough guys, typical metal bros, and "DONT TAKE MY GUNS OBUMMER" hicks. Needless to say, I'd rather break bread and chill with Slipknot fans over being around that.

 

Yeah that was the tour. I'm not a LoG fan at all, so I was already over it by the time they came on. Their crowd was the weirdest ever. Like you said, metal dudes, old dudes, hicks, and weird hybrids. Some guy almost fought a dude for stepping on his toes. But he was wearing flip-flops. To a LoG show. In the general admission section.

I dunno, I went to the bar.

 

I just got an $85 Kindle credit from Amazon.

 

my mom got like 120

 

I buy way too many books, I think I have over 500 physical books just piled everywhere in my corner of the living room. My mom hates me for it.

 

Following the EU referendum is sad.

 

At the moment, Remain has 51-49 according to the Guardian.

Yeah, I'm watching it all on BBC. It's projected that they stay, but it isn't looking good at the moment.

 

I cannot imagine what would happen if they do leave

 

IT's looking more and more likely.

 

I have no opinions on this referendum because I don't know if EU is better or worse than UK govt I guess

 

Jon Oliver did a segment on it that was pretty good about telling both sides. Leaving sounds frightening to me.
