Tour. Earlier this year they tweeted about what album tour we’d want to see, and a ton of people responded with this. Also if redux comes out Friday, I don’t see why they’d release a song on Monday, and if they were gonna I don’t think it would be from this album. Maybe just wishful thinking cus this is my favorite album by them.

But Shane also said they won’t be headlining in 2019 so they can work on new music

 

Didn't they say in an interview recently that they wouldn't do another tour like they just did with WBIEF?

 

He also said that to me and @Nate_Johnson during the Vip for that tour said it was too exhausting

 

Yeah, they said playing that many songs a night is very exhausting and they probably would never do it again.

 

Until the TIHTWS 10 year tour in 2023 hopefully...

 

Their summer tour with ABR is already announced and on sale. I don’t think they’d be “allowed” to announce another one if it existed until that one was near completion

 

Oh... Damn

 

I mean getting a song a little in advance is cool, but Shipwreck songs are not the ones that will benefit the most from this rerecord. I'd much rather hear a song from WBIEF.

Shane played about half of the songs on Instagram Live. They sound great! I especially liked what they did with Still Dreaming. I didn’t think I could like the Your Sword riff any better, but what an upgrade.

 

Those songs sound so clean, it's incredible!

 

I hear some things that I didn't even know were there in the original songs.

 

Yeah I’m really digging the redux. Oddly I went through their discography a week or so ago completely unaware this was coming out.

It's pretty good. Vices without Liam is weird and a bummer to me. Overall it's a fun retrospective look back

 

For some reason the intro in YSVSMD in the redux reminds me of Rum Is For Drinking Not Burning by Senses Fail

 

Just put this on and Smashed Into Pieces has got me hyped to conquer this Friday.

Haven't listened to Redux in full, but I skipped around through the tracks last night. I'm digging it. Really cool to hear these songs redone.
