Damn, I turn on the B’s game for the last few mins and they give up 2 breakaways and a 3-1. Might have to watch the Denver-UMass game instead

 

Not saying the refs have given the Caps calls they don’t deserve, but someone should let them know that Washington has been doing the same things we’re getting called for.

 

Refs tonight are brutal, lots of missed calls on both sides

Not the start I envisioned for the Bruins.

We’ll see how this Capitals game ends, but I think every time I expected win game 1 ended up losing. I guess that’s why playoff hockey is the best though. You just never know what’s actually going to happen, while the first round of the NBA playoffs is basically pointless.

The caps look like the same team from last years playoffs

Honestly besides that first period 3 goal blitz, we didn’t really let them get too much of a sniff. Stay out of the box and play the way we did the last 40 minutes of last night’s game and we have a real series on our hands.

 

Yeah, Caps can’t play like that again and expect to win, feel like they were fortunate.

 

i was quite impressed with how Carolina played, although it seems like most "experts" think they can't keep up that style of play since it was out of their norm, but they seemed pretty comfortable playing that style.

Boston's play / turnovers were perplexing and very bad

and did Calgary find a goalie??? look out if they did.
