Not against cussing on tv. But that felt forced.

 

I had a feeling that would happen based off the promo for the show. "Billionaires should build their own FUCKING stadiums". It seemed very forced. Hopefully it gets better. I enjoyed the Grantland basketball hour, so I know he's capable of producing something good.

 

I heard a bit of the Affleck bit on the radio and he sounded a little drunk.

 

Simmons is best when he doesn't think too far ahead about what he's doing. Like those hangouts he would do with Rembert and Jalen on Grantland during March Madness were great, because it was like 4-5 people just hanging out and talking about what's going on, but any time he's in like a real tv format it's more awkward and forced than it isn't.

 

I don't understand how a Celtics fan could possibly be making fun of another team for leaking stuff

So I just read the max for Batum is 26m per season. Holy shit.

I'm still sure they'll pay him whatever he wants but that number is more than I expected.

What's Indiana's cap look like? Can they afford another max deal after this trade?

Durant would be an idiot to go to the Kncicks when we've already heard GSW, Spurs, Heat, Boston will all be after him. I think he stays in OKC but I'm hoping for a shakeup.

 

He just hit his 7th year of service, which is a 5% jump in max salary from guys with 0-6 years in. Timing of that + the cap jump could not have worked out better for him.

 

Thad young doesn't do anything really, at least Brooklyn got cap room now to make little moves. I could see why McMillan would want him.

 

Yep. And we're in a position where we kinda have to give it to him. I won't be mad because I know there's not much else we could do. He's too important to the team. We probably won't make a big splash this offseason. Lockup Batum and then probably Lin and one of Williams or Lee. We'll have to wait until next summer to make additions.

 

I like it for the Pacers. They got a starter this season for basically nothing. Best case scenario at 20, they get someone alright who has to develop for a few years.
