I'm more hyped for this record than ever. I can't believe there's still 12 blink songs that I have no idea what they sound like.

It kinda feels like what I dislike about the current crop of pop-punk bands. Kinda just like paint-by-numbers, trying to recreate the classic fast pop-punk, hard for me to put into words tbh

The Blink band thread is too much for me, I'm pretty sick of people claiming their opinions as fact

  13. Those two posts back to back is kinda funny.

Talking about what I personally don't like is vastly different from claiming them as fact

  15. Other people are doing literally the same thing ... making statements. It's kinda obvious they're all opinion based. I don't see the words "this is fact" in anyone's posts ...

I feel the same way after my first play through of this album. I just posted somewhere else that it feels like the latest stuff from bands like NFG and Good Charlotte. An attempt to recapture what made everyone love them but they're just not those people anymore so it just falls flat. Can't see me returning to it any time soon, at least there's an absolute tonne of great new music recently.

I definitely get the same vibe from the latest NFG album as I have from the three songs I heard off this album. Definitely a deliberate attempt to recapture youth and a previous sound

    yep

Seriously loving this album. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a blink album this much.

I didn't dislike it... but I have little to no desire to return back to it. I've never had any sort of emotional connection with Blink, though.
