Anyone picking up Tokyo Mirage Sessions? Kinda excited to dust off my Wii U lol

 

TMS seems like EXACTLY my sort of game - huge SMT fan, love Fire Emblem, the jpop theme seems fun, it's getting great reviews but for some reason I'm not excited at all. Just not really in the mood for that sort of JRPG I guess. I'll still pick it up eventually, I'm sure.

 

I nailed the Ginso Tree escape in Ori on third try. THIRD! Took me.....1.5 hours last time, maybe more. I felt so fucking good when first try I got to the peak of the end but fucked up. Saw the end and knew it was tangible.

 

Do you like team & objective-based games? I would say it's definitely not a run of the mill FPS, but I mean at its core it still is a first-person shooter, so it's difficult to say.

No games interest me on that list. The only console games I'll get are Assetto Corsa, BF1 and hopefully the standalone CoD:MW.

Gives me a bit of money to waste of VR and board games though.

Holy shit apparently the Nintendo 64 came out 20 years ago today.

 

That system brought so many good memories. Legend of Zelda: OOT and Mario 64 alone had huge impact on how games were made.

 

I'm glad there's no recorded document of how many hours I played Goldeneye64 because it would be an embarrassingly high number.

 

I still think Quest 64 is an underrated gem.

 

I loved Quest 64. Never beat it, but remember consistently renting it from the video store.

 

I remember renting a system and Diddy Kong Racing for a weekend and my dad being blown away at how good the graphics were.

 

My 64 is just chilling in my brothers room right now. The only games we still have are Paper Mario, Mario Party 2 and Mario Kart 64. The best.

 

I didn't appreciate Quest 64 when I was younger probably because it was 'hard' for me. I revisited it a couple years ago and I was glad I did.

 

Xcom 2! Can't wait.

ME is so great. I loved every second of it.

 

I've still got my N64 and loads of games for it, I get it out every once and a while. Usually if me and my old school mates are having a gathering somewhere I'll take it along (most of the time it's recently gone along with me on stag weekends).

Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bro's and F-Zero X are the games that usually get an outing.

 

One thing I noticed after playing the N64 at a friend's baby shower recently, is that Xbox One, and Playstation 4 really lack good local multiplayer games.

I don't know if it's just me, but Nintendo seems to have, not only the best, but also the most local multiplayer games.
