My wife left to go out of town for her best friend’s baby shower at lunch today and won’t be home until Sunday night, so it’s just me and the kids.

 

how long is that fucking baby shower

 

My wife is also going to a friend’s baby shower tomorrow. Solidarity!

 

Just a lil punctuational humor for the thread

 

I think babies are measured in weight more than length

this sounded less sociopathic in my head

 

It puts the baby on the scale

 

They actually do both all the time. Weight is important but I feel like height is just for stats on the back of the baby baseball card.

What’s the last show you all went to and did you think it was worth it? I’m seeing Stella Donnelly right now and it is so worth it (it being a small venue and super sold out also makes it more fun).

My last show was Thrice in September, which just made me realize I basically don’t go to shows much anymore. My next one is Mitski though in 2 weeks which I couldn’t be more hyped for.

 

Simple Creatures last night. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a show that I didn’t enjoy

All 30 times I’ve seen them were GOAT

 

I will say that only applies to artists I’ve paid to see. I’ve been dragged to concerts and see terrible openers but never someone I specifically came to see

 

I think the only show I was kind of disappointed at was the JEW/incubus one.

It was a seated amphitheater and that's just weird to me. Jimmy eat world was very good but incubus kind of just dragged on and I don't know enough of their material and I don't smoke pot to it was hard for me to appreciate it.

 

For that tour I just left after JEW haha
