I got a Mastiff for the first time last night and didn't even get to shoot anyone :(

 

i fucking suck with the Mastiff. i got a couple of kills with it a couple of days ago for the first time. i have more luck with the Eva 8 than any other shotgun

 

I found the trick with shotgungs in this game is to not aim down sight

 

Me too but getting some one shots would have been nice. Assuming I actually aim at the person

 

Gold Mastiff shreds, but I find it isn't very conducive to end game battles. I typically need something with more range.

 

I’m just awful with a shotgun. I go from being pretty decent to a complete potatoe

 

I’m great with them in Battlefield but here I’m terrible too

I find the shotguns in general to be pretty inconsistent... even the grand-daddy Mastiff... I mean, they're great when they register and you deal a nice chunk of damage, but I'm shocked by how often you can be literally dead-center on the guy and you get nothing, or like 7 damage where like a single pellet hits the dude...

Crazy... I'd much rather pick up an SMG or Spitfire for up close.

Is anyone else hesitant to play with their second favourite character because of the dumb way trackers have been implemented?

On Xbox, the amount of random people you previously plaid with you can see is well below 60, so you often can't even add good team mates to your friend list

 

Yeah I take screenshots of the end game stats so I can add them later
