okay i gotta ask

i've heard and read from several sources that r**n woods of defiance ohio is a serial sexual assaulter / has behaved predatorily towards trans women / has made transphobic comments. however, this definitely doesn't seem to be like a secret in the scene, and people whom i know would never stay silent or tolerate someone like this having a space in the scene have attended, booked, and played shows with ryan's bands.

what's going on? is there something i'm missing? there was a huge thing in december here in ca with this prominent local diy promoter (involving defiance ohio) and the whole situation was "covered up" and dealt with horribly in terms of actually taking accountability for harm to survivors. said promoter books the majority of shows w/ out of town bands and i still attend his shows even tho i know i shouldn't. idk i'm not anyone but i want to avoid supporting abusers and their enablers if at all possible, but the fact that no one is talking about this makes me not doubt it, but wonder if there is information that has been going around that i'm missing.
