  1. first gen products always are constrained

every non-first gen big apple release should never take more than 2 weeks to show up in the store

  2. MKBHD said in his review that Apple confirmed to him that AirPods 2 sound exactly the same as the previous gen.

Definitely a case where people just want to think that the sound quality is improved because they are updated in other areas. I could definitely see a case where the volume is louder, and maybe that’s where people are thinking they sound better. Who knows. I’ve always thought AirPods sounded great for the size and being truly wireless anyhow. I’m not very picky when it comes to audio quality.

  4. The sound quality is the same but having hey Siri is a game changer for me

So one thing I haven’t seen, but would turning the “Hey Siri” functionality increase listening time? I’m curious as to why talk time would increase, but not listening time, and the only think I can think of is the “Hey Siri” function sipping some battery while it’s waiting for the trigger command.

Loving the AirPods 2, I’m actually impressed with the sound quality although I find the fit is a bit... weird. At times they feel as though they’re about to fall out unless I push them in quite a bit.

  7. no, the giant plot twist is that the sound quality is improved, but it's via the firmware so it trickled down to the old AirPods.

Pretty big difference. I guess if people are going from the old AirPods with the old Firmware to the new ones they wouldn't be amiss to think they sound better haha

A question about the apple card, are those A.P.R. rates considered good in the US?

They are in-line with the typical credit card.

I definitely think the volume is louder on the original AirPods with the 6.3.2 firmware update.

My money is on him knowing something that we don't.

The Apple Watch is now bigger than the iPod ever was. As the most popular watch of all time, it’s clear that the watch is a new market success story. However it isn’t a cultural success. It has the ability to signal its presence and to give the wearer a degree of individuality through material and band choice but it is too discreet. It conforms to norms of watch wearing and it is too easy to miss under a sleeve or in a pocket.

I guess it felt more like the kind of thing Apple would cancel on a Friday afternoon.

Kind of a bummer that they didn’t just go with standard Qi charging for the Apple Watch now. At least they did with the AirPods.
