Anyone know why some of the big rock festivals aren’t being scheduled this year? I’m specifically thinking of Northern Invasion in the Wisconsin/Minnesota area. I know the big promoter behind it is still doing other shows this year.

Probably just a financial decision, but at least the Northern Invasion Tour has done well in the past.

 

Traitors are stoked to open for a tour hitting up the same dive bars they're used to not packing on their own headlining tours. Great.

Yeah it’s TSSF/ Counterparts/ The Pop punk band breaking up.

 

They are not together bc Blake posted on his story a while back that Counterparts has a headliner in the summer

45 minutes of him berating the crowd and telling everyone Coheed is the best band and that if it was his choice, AFI would be headlining the tour

 

But...Coheed is the best band ever (imo...)

Saw that tweet too! Doesn't sound like it's 100% set in stone, but I'd imagine it would have to be pretty close to reality for him to blurt that out on Twitter like that...

If this does wind up happening, I'm really glad I got passes for this this past weekend (and that the work trip I had planned happens to fall around this weekend).

Just got my ticket for the Boston show, seems like Defeater always tours with cool diverse lineups
