House in the trees definitely me fav

 

Pretty sure "House in the Trees" is my favorite song of the entire year.

 

Yeah it’s between that one and Blue Vacation for my favorite on here

OK I created a theory/story, stick with me here.

Upside Down Flowers the album IS the "last transmission from the Island Radio" that's referred to in the song of the same name from Zombies on Broadway. In Island Radio, similar or the same vocal effects are used in the chorus of the song as with the majority of UDF. Upside Down Flowers sounds like an island record, but transmitting through an old radio, hense the static-y vocal effects.

Probably makes no sense, but I'm rolling with it

Quite late to the party on checking out this record but hot damn it's really great and House In The Trees is one of the best songs he's ever written

 

Saw him perform live last night, and it was not at all disappointing. Got to hear “Watch the Sky” and “She Paints Me Blue,” and all the new jams sound spectacular. The stage setup was also dope as fuck, and thank god everything arrived — Andrew mentioned they almost didn’t make it, so very happy the crew helped get it all together for an amazing show.

Wondering how much this sold first week in comparison to Self-titled and Zombies, think that was 15k, anyone know? And man, this record has had some staying power, so good. I love all and everything Andrew.
