Also, this is a WM crowd...its 60k smarks. They'll cheer for Brock losing, they'll cheer for Becky winning, they'll cheer for Kofi if he goes over (and for KO if its him).

The real danger is the matches in between those. I can see that crowd, fresh off of Kofi beating D-Bry, turning on a plodding HHH/Batista match. Or an Asuka/Mandy match thats as bad as the Fastlane one. Or god help them if they dont put Shane/Miz on early...the lesson from last years WM was to be one of the first few matches if you arent THE match.

 

No one would turn on an asuka match because she’s the GOAT and universally beloved.

I agree that kofis pop would definitely be larger... although I don't think him winning is a guarantee

The only thing that would save the match is that it HAS to main event. The buzz of it being a historic moment and it could end up being Becky's big moment will still be huge. But if this isnt the main event, then I agree... it will be a moment but not as humongous as we all hoped.

It's really unfortunate ROH is kind of sucking right now. Matt Taven bores the hell out of me and I'm glad I didn't order the PPV. I would have been so pissed with that match. The MSG show is Defintely flying under the radar since not much has been built. I'm sure it'll be good but I feel like their is little hype for the show.
