Two days into the offseason and we're already hearing all kinds of crazy talk. This morning on Lebatard he was talking about LeBron's statement earlier in the season about playing with his friends. I don't remember the exact quote but Lebatard was implying that LBJ said he'd liked to play with Melo, CP3, Wade. They went on to throw out a scenario in which it could maybe possibly might happen.

Clippers dump some of the old guys to clear cap. Then trade Blake for Melo. LBJ and Wade come to LAC for less.

I give this about a 2% chance of happening but it's fun to think about how enraged the entire world would be if it did happen.

 

In that unlikely scenario, if I'm CP3, I'd maneuver to get to Cleveland and out of the western conference playoffs which have been so cruel.

i agreed with Jason Terry's take on Dwight

he needs to go to one of the handful of teams that would allow him to play back to the basket (even though he's not that good at it, and he refuses to PNR)

unfortunately that's unlikely to bring that team a championship in today's NBA

 

Lebron has dominated the east for six straight years - makes no sense to go west

 

Oh I know. They were just blabbing off the easiest way to make that team happen. I don't think they were predicting anything.
