I didn't realize who had Tweeted that 'new Certified Fresh' comment at first - so awesome .

I know the 3rd film will probably have a lot of scenes that will give it a run for it's money, but right now that red throne room fight for me is THE iconic scene for all the newer Star Wars films.

Doubt it. They’ll probably just try to focus on EP IX when it comes to films.

I’m okay with it. Haven’t ever seen anything with him and we already have at least 5 new characters added to this trilogy.

 

What are some trilogies where the third and final film is as good or better than the previous ones?

I would have said Indiana Jones but now there’s a fourth and probably at least one more at some point.

 

True but Id still consider that a trilogy just like Id consider the OG Trilogy as its own trilogy.

As far as the question Return of the King, Thor: Ragnarok, Toy Story 3, Logan (if you want to consider Xmen Origins/The Wolverine as a series) and War For The PLanet Of the Apes (although I thought it was a slight step down personally)

 

I would argue revenge of the sith is the best of the prequels

 

Two towers is the best lotr imo

Indiana Jones is one trilogy where I think all three films stack up with each other. I love all 3.

Fellowship is my favorite but the question as good or better than the other two. LOTR are close to equal for me. theyre all so good.

Probably unpopular opinion but this sequel trilogy could definitely be my favorite trilogy depending how good it is. TLJ is in my top 4 all time and TFA in my top 15.

 

I honestly don't think I have ever watched The Godfather III all the way through and finished it in one sitting. I have seen the whole thing over the years, but I have watched I & II all the way through dozens of times. Both of those are movies like Shawshank where if I stumbled upon them playing on TV when I was younger you could kiss anything else I was doing that day goodbye because I was sitting down and watching until they were done.
