John // OC now, OH forever.

I need you to go to Sum 41 at the Phantasy because my little brother's shitty crust punk band played there like 15 years ago and I cannot imagine a band like Sum 41 playing there.

Sum 41 down the street from my apartment at the Phantasy is a sentence I would never expected to type. @JaytotheGee rocks

In case anyone cares, Asking Alexandria are doing a free acoustic show this afternoon (4:00 PM) in Minneapolis at the restaurant inside Target Center.

Seems there's a VIP option for this tour - there's a $108 ticket on the Eventbrite page.

I just saw Mumford on Saturday. I would have been stoked if Portugal The Man was opening. Didn't care for the Cleveland opener, Cat Power.

What's the capacity? 100? I'm not a big Sum 41 guy, but feel like this would be unreal.

Oh, that's WAY bigger than I thought. I've never been there. But figured it was smaller than like, Musica or Mahalls or something.

Not many Mumford fans on this site but it was a great show. Easily the biggest Q show I've been to. Having the stage in the center of the pit and them selling tickets around the entire arena was so cool. Place went wild during Little Lion Man & The Cave.

This is getting less and less unreal with each reply, haha. Wondering why they chose Phantasy and not just Grog or Agora Ballroom.

350 seems generous to me, but I assume they're counting the little side areas with the tables. There's a giant pirate ship thing in the back of the space, but the main space stage is about two feet tall with no barricade. It's been a long time since I've been there, but I imagine that show sells out almost immediately if they're using the upstairs space.

There's always a chance they use the bigger Theatre space, but if not, I'd get tickets as soon as you can.[IMG]

    Kinda cool - there's a 3D tour. Explore Phantasy NightClub in 3D

Yeah, I thought the show was great!

I saw Metallica last month there and they had a similar stage setup - really smart to do it that way to allow seats in every section to sell!

The reception for those two along with I Will Wait was pretty wild. I was in section 100 and Marcus ran right past my row when he went into the crowd during Ditmas. Overall it was a really fun time!

I was hoping they'd play Chico instead since ABR normally doesn't play Sacramento 2x in 1 year.

My brother-in-law and sister went. They bought tix for section 228 but somehow ended up on the floor midway through the show (I didn’t ask). I saw A few outlets on Facebook post about them covering Hurt and the responses were pretty comical.

Anyone here a T-Mobile customer? They have some seats set aside at certain Live Nation shows for T-Mobile. You can get a code here:

If anyone can hook me up with a code, I'd appreciate it!!

The Bouncing Souls' Stoked For the Summer show at the Stone Pony Summer stage is July 13th.

According to the Facebook Event page, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones will be on this as well, which makes perfect sense for the Souls' 30th anniversary! I'm guessing/hoping/dreaming that Hot Water Music and Strike Anywhere will also be on the bill.
