Terrell Davis was the second jersey I ever got, after Barry Sanders. I loved him too.

 

I kinda love that Case Keenum deal for Washington. They somehow found a starting QB for $3.5MM.

After Barry Sanders retired my brother and I both looked elsewhere for NFL playoff rooting interest. John Elway retired soon after Barry so I gravitated toward Tom Brady but my brother got into the Steve McNair/Eddie George Titans. There were a lot of fun Tennessee players in the late 90s/early 00s.

You know what's bad? The steelers constantly using mid round picks on shitty qbs

 

Looking at the details, its genius for the Redskins. Basically a throwaway late pick, and they'll end up spending at the QB position what most other teams do. And Keenum is basically Alex Smith, statistically.

That said, Im surprised Keenum took this deal. Dude waived $10mil in salary to go play for Washington when surely some team would have given him a 2-3yr deal worth $10mil+/yr to play.

 

Like, why would any of those guys....who can make BANK as contractors or private security instead...willingly go to a job that doesnt pay that well considering what it entails.
