This is very possible. They have been working house shows. I'm all for that. Only thing that can make up for this terrible blow is Cole with the strap

 

My guess is they have Gargano's turn is what is "responsible" for the injury. They set up a multiman match for the title. Throw Keith Lee, Gargano, Riddle, and Cole at the match.

 

That's really sad

 

man, producing wrestling tv has got to be such a hard, tense gamble. we want long term booking and we finally get some and it is hampered with roadblocks.

 

Right at the end feud too. The conclusion of nearly 2 years work. Sucks so bad for both Ciampa and Gargano.

 

man, poor ciampa. we were so close to the likely end of the story too :(

 

And its tough, because they already ran the "mysterious attacker" angle when Aleister got hurt, so they cant just write Ciampa out that way as easily.

 

but they can. Johnny threw him into the light board to go off the air at the tapings.

 

Gonna fantasy book this and say that the attack stems from the Undisputed Era's losing streak, leading to Cole/Gargano for the belt and it's the start of TUE running NXT for the next year. Gargano still moves on and some fucking how Ciampa returns as a face

honestly the only matches that aren't going to be multi-man matches are probably HHH/Batista the Universal title match and the cruiserweight match (which will be on the pre-show) and maybe the smackdown women's title (which will also probably be on the pre-show because fuck it) US title and smackdown tag belts

so 3 guaranteed single matches with maybe another 3

 

I mean I get why WrestleMania is 15 hours long and has two battle royales and numerous multi-person matches - they want everyone on the main roster to get a payday but sheesh

 

Just give whoever doesn’t appear on the show a small bonus and be done with it

 

Just make mania two days

 

Nxt Friday, mania Saturday and Sunday could maybe work but TBH if you don't wanna watch 15hrs just don't watch the whole show.

 

but you know.. we will sit on our couches and watch it. lol

 

To be honest I don’t know how the hell im going to do this. I’ve been so spoiled these past few years actually going to mania that I can’t imagine sitting in front of my tv for 10 hours. My son will not allow that. My wife will not allow that. Shit, I myself would not allow that.
