rhodonite has a chord that i really really love, my ear sucks so i can't tell if its a dom7b13 or a diminished chord, its def some sort of application of harmonic minor, and to me it just sounds awesome with that guitar tone they used there.

 

Yeah, that track has some of my favorite chords on the album. Sorta jazzy

 

yea, that jazzy sound makes me think its def a b13, which is awesome ha.

 

i just love the swaying horn or whatever that comes in 2/3rds of the way in. so dope

 

yes! i think its trumpet but its pretty low range, its really low key to which i love. its not like LOOK WE HAVE A HORN, more like just a texture element. Really tastefully placed.

Not really sure what to say about this one. Very dense and it feels like it'll take a while for me to really get it. The lyrics seem a lot more focused on imagery this time around, which I can definitely get behind.
