I just fixed quoting you, but it appears it's a good thing you saw! My source was someone in a very close knit Pumpkins group on Facebook: they knew someone working within promoting. I'll say, this possible announcement and tour really surprises me, not just the supposed bill, but as I know Billy has a lot on his plate in terms of projects. But, if it's being also told here, then I believe!

 

Wow that would be absolutely amazing. It's a North American tour I'm assuming? I imagine Noel is so massive everywhere else that he'd never need to play support.

Neck Deep is working on the new record right now. This will be the exact same as the last two cycles where they premiere stuff right before Slam Dunk at the end of May, album in probably August.

A re-do of the 2016 coheadliner is literally ALL I want.

I dig Noel’s HFB stuff, but I’m more excited for seeing Oasis stuff, tbh

 

Yeah he usually throws 5 or 6 Oasis tracks in the set.

Also the Maryland date is August 17th at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Tickets $35-$199.

I'd imagine the tour will get properly announced soon.

You know, I did try some of his High Flying Bird work in the past, but it's been a while. I'm willing to give it another listen! (I'm at work right now, but I'll report back in a couple hours!)

I was gonna say they probably had time in between the last leg of TPATP in the US and now to be writing a record. I think we'll for sure have a new record this year.

 

They've said they wanted to do it again. Plus so many bands have been rehashing old tours from 2-3 years back lately. August Burns Red's headliner may as well have been called Frozen Flame part 2.

 

Tickets for that are onsale next Friday, so I'd imagine the tour will get announced on Monday.

I know Smashing Pumpkins will close, but something tells me they'll call this a co-headlining tour. On Noel's last US tour he was selling out 6k capacity places in some cities, and now that the reunion hype has died down I'd imagine that's the same level the Pumpkins would be now too.

 

I had tickets to that bitch and got the stomach flu the night before. Tour's fuckin cursed

The ND/SC tour just didn't come to my city :( so I'd be up that again

 

ND/SC was in Toronto the day I landed back after my Hawaii vacation. I figured I’d be jet lagged and wanting to go home. I’m still yet to see ND other than at Warped.

 

SC/ TSSF/ Counterparts would be sweet.
