Inter Arma share "Stillness," add Saint Vitus to tour schedule

I listened to this earlier today and was fully wheeled by it. I wanted to like it more and could respect it, but it just went in one ear and out the other. I had more fun diving into Cro-Mags and Blood after that later today. Guess I need to dive into it again tomorrow.

 

Some nice Judas Priest/Scorpions worship going on. Not bad.

I saw Vein tonight and took a kick to the face within the first song haha. They were good though (the crowd not so much). Higher Power supported and were so much fun, I’d been wanting to catch them for a while now and they didn’t disappoint.

 

Really digging the new Seer. If you're into Inter Arma, you might like it.

 

Dirty death metal featuring members of Harms Way, Weekend Nachos, and Like Rats. I know they got posted here before, but their album came out today, and it is nasty in the best way possible.

 

Lords of Chaos is out on VOD today. Hopefully gonna watch it tonight.

Yeah, I've heard varying things. I'm not well versed in black metal, so I'm probably not the one to ask. But seeing Rory Culkin in corpse paint should be fun.

 

To be fair, I don’t think any movie about black metal is gonna go well in the community, especially past the edgelord BM dorks.

I mean, it doesn't look good. I've read that the first half is basically a comedy. The book itself isn't that great.

Here's a new song from from Thoughtcrimes, which is a new band featuring Billy Rymer from The Dillinger Escape Plan. This is pretty damn sick...it's technical metalcore somewhere in between Sikth, Every Time I Die, TDEP, and Converge.

edit: throw some deftones influence into the mix as well.

 

I'm halfway through Lords of Chaos and I can't stop rolling my eyes. TRVE CVLT people are gonna HATE this movie.
