she needs to go back to the PC and learn how to wrestle but I guess being The Rock's cousin has its perks

I wish they would still send a main roster guy down to NXT for a set of tapings like they used to do in the early days. I know there’s not really room for it now though.

But this is what I would do if I could book WWE for a few months.

I’d have a ppv that was like a mix of night of champions and cyber Sunday. Maybe like 1-2 months after mania but promote the shit out of it during Mania. Have just about every title on the line, maybe you can have two champs defend in one match and whoever gets pinned loses his belt. But every brand is represented

Have a qualifying tournament over a few weeks. A small number of wrestlers qualify just to have their name entered into the drawing. Have a shoot drawing. Maybe you get a raw guy draw the NXT uk champ. Maybe the new day challenges for the NXT tag champs. Basically people aren’t held back by their brands with the exception being that the guys in the lottery for the cruiserweight belt must be less than 205. The drawing has to take place about a month from the ppv to build the storylines.

Most belts probably wouldn’t change hands but maybe a couple could. Maybe Elias becomes NXT UK champ and has a month long run with it. Keep this going for a few weeks and then you have time to reset back to the standard by the build to summer slam. Maybe do this every two years or so.

Who do I gotta pitch this to? I can draw up a presentation on a poster board like a middle school science project

 

I almost bought a Rhea Ripley shirt at the NXT show I went to tonight, but it was $30 and they probably have it for like, $15 online without any of their crazy sales.

 

Btw, Kassius Ohno beat Keith Lee tonight. Main roster push imminent, obvi

 

they had breeze on a taping a few months ago and it was a lot of fun

I'm not a big fan of the titles jumping around brands like that (though I do think the NXT champ should jump around NXT and NXT UK and the NA champ should essentially be the top belt for NXT much like the UK is for NXT uk). But I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a bit more cross pollination. And a yearly Takeover: Homecoming event that pits former NXT stars against current ones would be a ton of fun.
