Lebron can semi-realistically set the career points record. No way he retires after the season.

 

i'm seeing a handful of randoms on Twitter trying to say Bron is better than Jordan because "Jordan never played in any Game 7's"

...

 

I sometimes think Magic's Twitter is a flat out fake/parody.

 

that's almost like, "if we score more points that puts us in a good position" territory.

Silence. LeBron is The Chosen One. Also He is The King. That being said no man in the NBA will ever ever amount to Sir Charles Barkley, ever.

But seriously comparing every great star player of the last 10-15 years to Jordan is understandable but so boring. It's the laziest, most tired thing ever.

This is pretty good but it doesn't compare to how funny Shaq's twitter was in its prime. My god that was pure entertainment.

 

I love a good conspiracy theory, so here goes the rest of my night. Right off the bat, very interesting to learn:

"Since 1980, every NBA Finals has involved at least one of the following eight players: Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Isiah Thomas, Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O'Neal, or Lebron James."

I never knew or even thought of that (that these 10 have been in the Finals the last 30+ years).

You really are blowing the original comment way out of proportion.

 

I'm pulling hard for Cleveland to grind this out just because I like LeBron/Kyrie/JR/Frye, but Steph hitting that guy with his mouthpiece was incredibly funny.

And I also think it's cool that Curry's wife is this involved. She's heavily invested in supporting what her husband is doing, and I can't even begin to pretend I don't read takes that are infinitely worse on a daily basis.

 

the first thing out of my dad's mouth after the game 'this shit is so rigged'... him and Ayesha Curry have a lot in common apparently.

My favorite quote re: Ayesha's claims of it being rigged came from Windy on Cleveland local TV:

"If, indeed, the NBA is rigged, she should thank her lucky stars because they rigged it for Steph Curry to win two MVPs and be worth $100 million."

 

I can't even imagine how crushing it will be for LeBron if cavs lose. I would worry that would be a loss it'd be hard to come back from.

 

And people still deny how great he is. A friend of mine who hates lebron was saying "if the cavs win Kyrie has to be mvp"

 

Kyrie has been really good for most of this series...but that's just ridiculous!

I've been a Cleveland sports fan for my entire life and the only game that compares to Sunday's upcoming game 7 (at least in my lifetime) was game 7 of the 1997 World Series.

 

Not even remotely a Cavs fan but I have always loved Lebron; Kyrie has made a huge fan of me these last two games; Curry and The Warriors are downright intolerable. I say all this to say: GO CAVS!!!!

 

What happens if the warriors blow out the cavs in game 7? Will people say it was fixed this whole time?
