I hope I can combine the good stuff from this and Sweetener and make a super album that rivals Dangerous Woman as my fave pop album.

Why's that? Some of her biggest influences are Japanese artists. She makes really cute videos for them too.

 

Big cultural appropriation vibes, it'd be one thing if it was used for an Asia specific release. It feels in poor taste.

That "7 Rings" song keeps popping up when I'm out in public and it is just a massive piece of shit.

 

I feel like the Ariana Grande discourse is rapidly losing nuance. Anything she does and releases is either terrible or great depending on who you ask, when in reality there’s a lot of middle ground there. It’s a little exhausting.

if you zoom into the picture her hands look quite normal, what makes it looks so doll'esque is that it seems she's using some sort of bronzer/fake tan and it gives it a really unnatural hue.
