really cool that Atiba Jefferson directed it. he's an incredibly talented skate-focused photographer who, from the looks of it his Insta, is pretty close with Blake and the Workaholic's guys. maybe that's where the connection came from?

Hayley on an AF song is everything I wanted. Met my very high expectations.

 

Remember playing THPS 4 and seeing his name for the first time as a kid. Awesome to see the collaboration on this

The new song with Hayley is incredible. Very much looking forward to this release!

 

can Hayley be featured on all AF songs moving forward? the layering of her in the background in the second verse, the back and forth in the chorus, her verse. it's all goes so, so well together.

 

100% would listen. Song reminded me of old Lydia.

Loving this new song. American Football is one of those bands that I've listened to on and off and I don't know why I haven't just dived headlong into their stuff. Psyched for this.

Also, just have to say, I love Hayley on this track. Saw a couple people say in the official article that she was underutilized, but she's all over this and yet perfectly restrained at the same time. It gives me so much respect for her that champions all these niche bands and then her features are relatively modest. She's basically the indie/emo rock fanatic we all are except she also just happens to be the biggest rock star in the world. It's rad.

 

I think I convinced Mike to do an Owen show the night before their American Football show in SLC this summer.... AHHHH!
