I've known about 2/22 being the release date for a week or so. There was some random indie record store that had the upcoming releases and this was on there for 2/22. My guess is single tonight and record comes out on 2/22.

I just refreshed both the Rough Trade page and their twitter feed. Looks like they jumped the gun and posted it early?

 

Yeah idk, it’d be very cool but I’m not at all expecting the full record tonight

 

Still can't believe this is happening!!! I'd love the album to drop in full but if it's 22nd Feb at least it isn't THAT far away.

 

So it looks like Rough Trade took the preorder page down. But I guess mine is stuck in cart purgatory?

 

I can’t share any of it, but I actually have the full album, as well their next album. I’ve also been to the upcoming tour and Phoebe is coming to my birthday party.

Let me just say, worth the wait guys.

 

I bet the whole album releases on Friday and that 2/22 date is the vinyl release

Touring March-April

 

Is it me, or did that read as a super awkward interview/conversation...? It seemed like they were shutting down almost everything he asked/said. Her "Cis white male" response was great though. I suppose it can all be more playful and fun in nature but translate funny to the written page.

The interview feels a bit like a less extreme version of the interview on 'An attempt to tip the scales' from back in the day. Feels like something Conor of old would concoct.

 

I learned that’s not actually Conor talking in the F&M interview and my head exploded

The interview in “an attempt to tip the scales” on Fevers and Mirrors. It’s apparently not Conor being intveriewed, it’s some one from the faint if I recall correctly.

 

Yeah I remember reading this as well

 

Kinda felt like the interviewer answered all of his own questions for them and then left Phoebe and Conor to just kind of nod in agreement or tell him he was wrong. Weird to see an interview where the questions are paragraphs long and all the subjects are left to say is "yeah."

Oh, and then he defined "in unison" for them. That was fucking weird.

 

It read like the interviewer was trying to be all chummy like the three of them are buds and know all the same people and hangouts and they were just shutting him down and telling him he was wrong and correcting him.
