I believe these songs aren't actually B-sides, and were written and recorded sometime after the last album, and that Jade handled production duties.

Not too high on the verses but love the chorus and solo

EP is pretty darn good

 

The EP is rad, but I wish they'd bring in another producer instead of letting Jade handle that. Production's a step up from Blood Album, but I feel like it could still be so much better.

 

Eh, it's pretty cool. Really like Trash Bat. At this point I don't expect this band to put out their best material anymore anyway so I'm just glad we're still getting new shit

 

This is a fun listen, glad we got some new AFI so soon. break angels is my early favorite.

 

This is really fun and enjoyable, I'm liking every track more than "get dark" and the title track is definitely cool

He does a decent job, but I'd love to see them work with someone like Butch Vig again.

Overall, I really enjoy the EP and I'm glad to find I enjoy the other four tracks more than Get Dark. I know the 4th Blaqk Audio album is slated for a release earlier next year, but hopefully we get another AFI album sooner than later. I'm really interested in hearing them further pursue some of the sounds on this EP.

Break angels is awesome

 

That song was awesome. I'd say that song is the closest sounding to Decemberunderground that they've done in recent years.

It's like once every couple of years I get into an AFI rabbit hole and listen to nothing but their stuff for like a month straight. This might be one of those times.

the production on this is kind of a disaster but yeah its fine, im pretty sure these are all just Blood B sides that they couldnt decide what to do with

 

Back Into The Sun is fuckin awesome

 

I think they actually wrote these songs after Blood was out.
