I bought my ticket to this already and am very excited but I have one minor “complaint”. They had Hot Mulligan play last years holiday show and I feel like this year they should have had a different but local Chicago band on the bill (aside from Fredo). There’s so many great Chicago bands or musicians that could be on this bill honestly.

Big festival in Columbus announced for May. Does this point to the rumored Boston Manor headliner?

 

That's actually a pretty cool lineup for what it is.

 

agreed. it's the usual mix of good and bad that you'd come to expect from rock on the range, just rebranded in a nice 2018 package.

 

well atleast we know that architects, & pwd will be over here at some point next year.

Boston Manor, Movements, Paypal RoyMoore, Hands Like Houses, Wage War, Don Broco, YungBlud, Issues, Beartooth, & BMTH definitely show that fests like this will be the new home of the Warped Scene.

no big band will ever fuck with their money and speak out against a festival they're booked on for those reasons

 

I think we’re gonna get some big tours announced today. That’s what my gut said

 

god i hope. theyre definitely doing a tour around this one, with their draw here there's no way they're coming to america for one show. could say the same about basement.

 

Yup. They've definitely shifted gears just enough to compete with Riot Fest and widen the audience beyond the "active rock" arena.

Really crazy to see Henry Rollins' name between Dice and Pauly Shore. Hah.

Between this and PRB's line-up, I'm hoping for a Refused/Hives tour to be announced soon.

 

I'm shocked at how high The Distillers are billed on this. I know these are considered reunion shows but do they really have this big of a draw?

 

This is from last year? Plus I'm pretty sure that Life Lessons broke up after allegations against their singer.
