You guys habitually abuse the letter 'u'. You also pronounce 'z' wrong. We're allowed to anglicise your band names!

Technically speaking I think we're the only language that's actually wrong in.

 

Brits pronounce "Bowie" differently too, more like "BAO-ee" (e.g. take a bow) rather than "Bowie" like the knife

If you're referring to Bowie of the David variety, then I think you'll find it's not us pronouncing his name differently. He was one of ours!

Actually, in the case of 2018, saying "Twenty eighteen" is pretty common. Saying "Two thousand and eighteen" is far too slow. We could have had a conversation about the weather or made a cup of tea in that time.
