Yeah, I’m pretty surprised about this too. Especially because I thought the EP showed promise but wasn’t anything super special. You’re letting me down @zmtr!

Anyway, I think Caitlyn is going to win it for me, but Andrew McMahon is making a strong challenge.

 

Andrew is amazing but not passing Golden Hour. So if The 1975 doesn't do it, nobody will.

 

I have a really close top four and have second guessed every ranking of it I’ve tried to do so far.

 

I have this behind Beach House, Hop Along, and Father John Misty. Petal and Soccer Mommy are not far behind

oh and there was Mitski. and boygenius. ugh need to reassess

 

This album is definitely towards the top of my favorites, zero of the ones @ChaseTx listed are though haha

I didn't really get truly into her music until 2017 and this is the song that did it.

 

The Miguel EP that had him and Kacey singing Waves is what sold me.

Hadn't listened at all. Before hearing "Southeastern" for the first time in 2015 I was basically in the "fuck all country music" camp outside of like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and other stuff like that.
