I'm gonna need for them to not give Yale offensive rebounds and Plumlee to play amazingly.

 

Lack of interior presence is gonna hurt on the rebounds especially if Plumlee gets into any foul trouble at all.

I was about to get upset that I couldn't stream the game.

 

No Duke player has frustrated me quite like Matt Jones over this length of time. Usually by junior year the bad habits are mostly gone (Nolan Smith, Quinn Cook, Singler) but man, Matt ... you drive me nuts sometimes!

 

I hate his shot. It drives me nuts.

 

His shot, his shot selection, when he decides to drive sometimes at the worst times, some fouls. He plays good perimeter defense, and shoots better from three than I would have guessed.

I know he is a freshman but he frustrates me with how up and down his play is.

 

Yeah, me too, he's gonna be good these next few years though ... I feel like he has a lot of growth and learning the college game will be a work in progress.

 

Also after close to a decade of the one and done rule I hate it when trying to follow a team like Duke. It takes me years to get to know these players and I feel less invested in the team because the top players are there for a year.

 

Fucking offensive rebounds. It's when they miss Jefferson the most.

 

Jones's shot feels especially awful with the attempted tear drop.

 

Looks to me like Kennard just needed that 1st round of his 1st March Madness under his belt. He is up and down, you're right.

 

I don't see how he doesn't get stripped everytime when he shoots with someone close up on him.

 

Even on some of those corner threes I feel like it takes him so long to get it out that he gets blocked so much. Gahhhh

Someone might have already said this but I didn't know how much we needed Jefferson until he was out for the season.
