So I've heard. My cousin got a sprained ankle at an Unearth show because the vibe was intense and both band and crowd went hard.

 

Also as much as I'm off most deathcore these days, that new Traitors ain't bad. Sounds like they might be trying to transition out into more 'metallic hardcore' territory eventually because it has slight Harms Way vibes in places.

 

Traitors are just about the most stupidly heavy thing on the face of the earth in my opinion and they're among one of the only bands out there I desperately want to see live but am almost afraid to just because the last time I was at a downtempo show I almost fuckin died and it being Traitors would only make the crowd rowdier, lol.

Also, August Burns Red dropped a new Christmas EP and it's absolutely wonderful.

 

I dunno man Black Tongue? But yes Traitors are fucking beastly and have made some super nasty shit. And this is coming from me, someone who's been off most deathcore for ages.

 

I'm in awe right now.

The Power Trip 10th Anniversary show was amazing.

Despite living in Dallas my whole life, I've somehow managed to miss Power Trip over and over again, so this was my first show. I assume they play killer shows all the time, but they definitely brought their A-game to the anniversary show. As did all the bands.

The crowd was INSANE the entire night. People stagediving non-stop. Human pyramids. Giant circle pits. Hardcore dancing. Drinks flying through the air. I've probably been to close to 500 shows and the only crowd that compared was Every Time I Die in a 400 cap room where people were literally swinging from the chandeliers.

Unfortunately my phone died right when Cold War took the stage, but here are a few pics...

 

AqME announced their demise. Once they moved from their early numetal sound due to the departure of the former guitarist, they became one of my favorite bands. Just a few highlights:

Hopefully the original singer comes back for the last tour.

 

Power Trip shows are insane. People go NUTS.

I'm so jealous you got to see Eternal Champion! How were they?

 

Unfortunately something came up Friday night so I didn't get to go to the night 1 show with Eternal Champion.

 

I’m a big fan of Dream Theater.

 

I want these guys to do this x-mas stuff to the end of time.
