Wolves making some bad deals haha. LaVine showing out in Chicago, Lauri with a strong rookie season and upside......Butler forcing TWolves to trade him.....for 3 role players that have no real star potential...

They’d have to ‘max’ Jimmy this summer because next summer they have to extend Simmons

It’s pretty hard to get decent value back in butler when he’s on the last year of his contract and it’s known he wants out.

But that first trade was just a “win now and compete” move and obviously back fired in the long term.

 

Weren’t the rockets just offering like four 1sts a week ago?

Yeah.. I don’t think anyone claimed they would. Thibs is delusional.

 

They were never going to trade him to Houston, despite the 4 picks. I’m fine with this, he was honestly such a cancer that I’ll be glad he’s gone.

It does hurt a bit that Thibs couldn’t pull the trigger on the Richardson deal

 

Gotta day it’s a win for Philly right now. Though their spacing issues did just get worse.

 

I get that, but they're still stuck in a weird position. I would've tried everything to get Fultz/Covington or Fultz/Saric + 2nd or something. If I were Phila I probably would've taken that and then try to find a reliable shooter to join the team. But damn...Phila gets to keep Fultz!
