Facing Watson, Hopkins and Drake. I’m fucked.

 

I started Andy Dalton instead of Watson.

 

Two different kids in my league messaged me yesterday saying “You need a QB” and I told both of them fuck off im sticking with Watson. LETS GOOOOOO

 

Fam, I need help. Was offered Matt Breida and Corey Clement for Golden Tate. I'd get the RB's. My receiving core is Emmanuel Sanders, Golden Tate, and Chris Godwin, with Desean Jackson as my flex. My starting back are Kareem Hunt and Carlos Hyde, with Javarious Allen and Duke Johnson Jr. on the bench. The trade helps with with Breida replacing Hyde full time, but I'm super weak with WR's on the bench at this point. Kenny Stills is injured and Chris Hogan is losing targets. Pls help

It’s funny, I’ve been telling people not to trust Lamar Miller all week but at 7:00 last night, I just had this feeling so I grabbed him back off the waivers and put him in my flex. Dude has his best game yet.

Looking for perspective on this before I even offer it. Other guy has Sterling Shepard as his WR2 and his depth is Robby Anderson, Marvin Jones and Courtland Sutton. He has Mixon, DJ and Cohen at RB.

I give: Juju, Golladay and Peterson
I get: Thielen and Cohen

I would have Thielen, Hilton and not much else (Bryant and Tre'Quan Smith as lotto tickets) at WR which worries me but would have Hunt, Conner/Bell and Cohen at RB

 

this week i'm going against the guy in our league who auto-drafted, barely pays attention at all, and is 0-7 right now. except this is the week he actually decides to put in effort and now i'm worried!

he started Miller last night too, ugh.

Hmmm I think it depends what your record is. If you were middle of the pack and not a clear cut comfortable spot, I would maybe not unload a lot of solid WR’s yet.

My reasoning is because Golladay and Juju have had their bye week already, and if you traded them away you’ll have some rough WR depth when Thielen and Hilton have their bye weeks. And if Hilton goes down again....not gonna be good.

Using bye weeks as a weight for trades takes the fun away I know, but in my leagues I’m 3-4 and have had less than 5 point swings EVERY week. So losing one major WR and swapping in one which may lay an egg could determine a season at this point.

 

@ClarettsGreyGoose if you're looking for a wr upgrade (depending on your record) you could always try landing Keenan Allen. He's on a bye this week so that may help you land him. I traded for him yesterday and hoping he has a huge second half just like last year.

Seriously, it’s perfect too because I have DJ, Chubb, Conner as my starters so I don’t need him for a few weeks anyways.

Who would I drop though? Shady, Hyde, Mack, or Carson? I am leaning Mack I think.

 

Whoa thats tough. See if you can maybe package 2 of them to land an upgrade at something. I def wouldn't drop Mack. I know there's a chance he doesnt play this week but after what he showed last week, I def wouldnt drop him.

I have Hopkins vs his Watson and I have Mahomes vs his Tyreek. 1st Place vs 2nd Place. LETS GOOOO

 

I drafted him and have been trying to get him back. I did win the trade though (Hunt, Golladay and ARob for Allen, Cook and Lockett). The discussions with that team was actually Michael Thomas, Keenan Allen and Phillip Lindsay for Juju, Golladay and Peterson. He tried to squeeze me for more so I backed off.

To elaborate on that trade, I have since spun off Robinson + Justin Tucker for Demaryius Thomas, then DT and Crowell for Peterson.

I'm 6-1 and lost because Gostkowski had that huge seek against the Chiefs while Justin Tucker only scored 3 points.

 

Do I risk playing Gronk this week? They don't play until Monday, and right now he's questionable and hasn't been healthy (or good) all year so it wouldn't surprise me if they announce last minute on Monday that he's out.

I have OJ Howard, who has been respectable when healthy and has a good match-up.

Side note, Brady is my QB. If I knew for sure Gronk was playing, I'd obviously go Gronk (even though he's been awful this year) but I'd hate to hear Monday that Gronk will be out.
