  1. Everything that sucks about Tom is in that song.

  2. What is this shit?
Come here, please hold my hand LORD now
Help me, I'm scared please show me how
To fight this, God has a master plan
And I guess, I am in his demand

Space circle jerk goes here ... and god damn am I glad that's a b-side. Overrated Blink song #1.

What a album that was. I got into pulley through this song being on Punk-o-Rama 5. I really miss those comp CDs.

Recently burned a disc of my favorite blink songs and I got 28 on there. Not Now wasn't really close at all to getting on there. It's probably close to the middle but I would say bottom half for me. I do want to hear Matt sing it however so I kind of hope to see it this summer.

I'm not that high on Not Now either, but I'm one of the few people that didn't/doesn't like Boxcar Racer

Punk-o-Rama 6 is how I discovered Hot Water Music, and for that I will be forever grateful. Great comps.

  8. Boxcar Racer doesn't hold up at all. It's like going back and realizing you had bleached blonde tips and being like "what the fuck was I thinking?" ... that's Boxcar Racer ... a regret while we waited for a new Blink album.

I disagree. I think Not Now was just before Tom got completely weird and I'll always love that song. Also, I think it would've been way better if it was an acoustic song. The acoustic video of Tom playing it on Youtube back when he was in the middle of writing the song always sounded better to me.

Tom killed Jason's dog, went back and time and ruined his childhood / burned all his stuffed animals , and owes him $5. Only logical explanation

Honestly, I've always looked at "Asthenia" as being the first sign of what was to come with Tom's writing style. I still like the song, but I think the signs are much more obvious in that song than Not Now.

  19. haha for sure. it is almost always an immediate pass for me. i love "not now" though. i just don't really pay attention to the lyrics as much on that one. i love the music, the catchy vocal melodies, etc. but that particular verse alone i could do without, for sure.

  20. i did too

For whatever it's worth, according to ASCAP, John Feldmann has a co-writing credit on this song and it would seem every other song on the record as well.

As does David Hodges, ex-Evanescence (and other things)

  22. Yeah, me having an opinion about music means clearly I've had someone murder my pet. :eyeroll:

All of This is still my favorite blink song of all time, and yes, I realize I'm in the minority on that one.
